Kuno

A circle set in motion. Kuno offsets its open handle within a rounded wooden body, creating a deliberate tension between the outer silhouette and the space it encloses. Its slender profile gives the form a different presence as it turns.

Aristeguieta’s composition is carried through the depth and direction of the grain. Hand carving and finishing bring out these variations, so that each Kuno holds its own balance of colour, line and reflected light.

The unlined interior is worked from the same piece of timber and finished with the same care as the exterior. High-quality protective finishes help protect the wood against moisture while preserving its natural character.
