Chaima

A horizontal composition with a sculptor’s sense of proportion. Chaima sets an elongated handle above a rounded body, balancing the clarity of the opening with the fullness of the wood beneath it. The result is compact, composed and immediately distinctive.

Aristeguieta’s design gives the grain an uninterrupted surface on which to register. Worked by hand, each piece acquires its own visual rhythm through the timber’s markings, shifts of tone and response to light.

The unlined interior is worked from the same piece of timber and finished with the same care as the exterior. High-quality protective finishes help protect the wood against moisture while preserving its natural character.
