A study in volume and void. Arekuna brings a broad, sculpted body into balance with a circular opening carved through its upper contour. The handle is part of the composition, giving the piece its distinctive silhouette.
Designed by María Teresa Aristeguieta and carved by hand, each interpretation is defined by the timber’s particular grain and tonal movement. The design is recognisable; the natural drawing across its surface belongs to that piece alone.
The unlined interior is worked from the same piece of timber and finished with the same care as the exterior. High-quality protective finishes help protect the wood against moisture while preserving its natural character.
